Lesson Horses at Excel Equestrian
Our lesson horses are the backbone of Excel Equestrian. These Arabians and half Arabs are our soul. Most of them have a long list of prestigious wins at Regional and National/World Championship shows. They are all 'been there, done that!' kind of horses. They are older and wiser and more tolerant of less experienced riders but ready to 'step-up' when a more capable rider asks for it. They each have their own personalities and quirks just like us. That makes it all the more enjoyable!

Dee B Bar, "Dee", is a 3 time High School Rodeo Champion Quarter Horse mare who is now the backbone of our beginner rider program. She is currently being ridden almost daily by our 5 year old in the arena and on the trails. Dee is an incredibly solid horse and a pleasure to have.

Reserve World Champion Morgan Park Harness, Claridge Nobl Discovery, as a 2 year old started his illustrious career which continued across the United States until he was 16 years old when he retired to be our 'backyard' horse and official Farm Greeter. You will love "Joe Joe" the minute you meet him. Accomplished students will have the thrill of riding "Joe Joe ". He is truly unique! He is the best babysitter & mentor that you could find.
